Ontario Provincial Police in South Bruce say the victim of a serious assault in Riplet has died.
On September 4, officers received a report of an assault at a residence on Jesse Street in Ripley. The victim was originally transported to a hospital in London with life-threatening injuries, but was pronounced deceased last week.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Kevin Richman of Huron-Kinloss Township.
OPP say that 26-year-old Daniel Paton, also of Huron-Kinloss Township, has been charged with manslaughter, and remains in custody.
