Provincial police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was found submerged in Meaford.
Grey Bruce OPP had asked members of the public to avoid the Meaford Marina on Sunday following a report of submerged vehicle, just off of St. Vincent Street. Provincial police were initially called at 11:51 a.m.
A vehicle was removed from the water shortly after 6 p.m. Police said there were no occupants.
However, the recovered vehicle was previously reported stolen
OPP said the investigation is ongoing.
