Some Good Samaritans stopped the theft of a tractor in Mapleton Township.
Wellington County OPP say the incident happened on September 25th on Sideroad 21.
Witnesses reported that someone was trying to steal a tractor.
The callers were able to stop the person from leaving the scene until police arrived.
A 16-year-old from Arthur is now charged with theft under $5000, person under 19-years-of-age having liquor, and person under 19-years-of-age having cannabis.
The accused is due in Guelph court at a later date.
