Perth County OPP are on-scene at a crash site in Atwood that will close part of Highway 23 for a lengthy period.
At 10:43 a.m. on October 5, police tweeted that Highway 23 would be closed between Line 72 and Line 75 in Atwood as a tractor trailer pulling a flatbed that crashed into the side of a building in September is being removed. Police say crews will need a long time to clear out the debris and remove the vehicle. Estimates from the OPP state that the roadway will be closed until at least 5:30 p.m.
Drivers should avoid the area for now.
