Two people arrested after Saugeen Shores road rage incident

Two people are facing criminal charges after a road rage incident turned physical on Friday morning.

According to Saugeen Shores Police Service, officers were dispatched to the area of Bricker St. and Barnes St. in Saugeen Shores at 7 a.m. on Friday with reports of an assault. They were told that a road rage altercation turned physical, and that a witness got involved to break it up.

Later that day, a 62 year-old man was charged with assault, and a 28 year-old woman was charged with mischief under $5000, the police say. Both parties are residents of Port Elgin.

Saugeen Shores Police Service have not disclosed what or who incited the road rage incident.
