Residents will have a chance to learn more about Grey Bruce Health Services' (GBHS) planned Wellness and Treatment Centre for people with mental health or addiction issues.
The new Centre is slated to open late in 2023 to offer voluntary treatment, transitional living, and life skills development.
The facility will be opened in the former Bayview Public School on 6th ST E in Owen Sound.
Community members will be able to get more details at a drop-in education session on December 15. Representatives from the treatment centre team will be on hand to share information and answer questions.
The session will take place at The Xchange at 825 2nd Ave E, Owen Sound on December 15 from 4 to 7 pm.
