A search warrant executed recently in North Perth yielded a sizeable seizure of drugs and cash by police.
Perth County OPP executed the search warrant on March 2 at an Argyle Avenue North residence in Listowel. During the search of the residence, officers seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone with an approximate value of $7,310, $1,477 in Canadian cash and seized property valued at $1,100.
Police arrested and charged a 38-year-old and 42-year-old, both North Perth residents, at the scene and laid numerous charges against both of the accused, including drug trafficking charges.
Both of the accused were held in custody pending bail hearings.
