Two students at Grey Highlands Secondary school in Flesherton are in custody following an incident Thursday morning.
Grey Bruce OPP officers responded to a report of an injury at the school at 10:15 a.m. Police have now confirmed a student was stabbed at the school. That student was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police note that their investigation continues, but that the incident is considered isolated. As a result, a 15-year-old from Southgate Township has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, and a 16-year-old from Grey Highlands is facing a charge of Attempting to Obstruct Justice.
Both of the accused are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Grey Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
