A young person is facing charges following a sexual assault investigation.
On March 7, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police found that between February and December of last year, three youths were sexually assaulted by another youth in separate incidents. Police say that intimate photographs of a youth were also taken and shared without consent.
A 14-year-old from Wellington County faces several charges, including five counts of sexual assault and sexual interference. Police note that no further information can be shared because all involved are youths.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
