Backyard fire enthusiasts will have to wait a little longer to stoke up their fire pits in South Bruce.
The municipality has issued a burn ban, stating that extremely dry conditions in the area have made it unsafe to have any open air fires. The total burn ban is in effect for the entire Municipality of South Bruce, which includes campfires and recreational fires. The burning ban is in place until further notice.
