Kincardine offers town a way to unite for 17th year

The Kincardine Multicultural Celebration Committee is inviting everyone to the 17th Kincardine Multicultural Celebration.

The event is completely free, with the goal of creating a sense of belonging and inclusion.

Guests can learn about different cultures through food and traditions.

It's put on by the Kincardine Multicultural Celebration Committee with help from Bruce Power, the Municipality of Kincardine, and the Kincardine District Secondary School.

"I've been attending the Multicultural Day Celebration since I was five years old," said high school student Pankti Shah. "I have learned to be proud of my unique background and heritage and feel more accepted in my school community."

The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 16 at the Davidson Centre. Everybody is welcome.
