Two local hospitals received some generous donations recently.
The Power Workers’ Union Bruce Site Equity Committee has donated $7,275 to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation to put towards upgrading the chemistry analyser in the lab. The chemistry analyser is the workhorse of the lab conducting all the medical tests for patients throughout the hospital.
Also, Mitchell District High School donated $700 to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation. The funds were raised when the Leadership class at Mitchell District High School hosted a charity basketball game between staff/students and the Ontario Provincial Police.
