The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has closed the Durham Hospital’s emergency department today.
The announcement comes after the ER was closed all day Sunday as well.
Initially, administrators planned to operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, but the plan was altered last night, resulting in a 48 straight hours of closures for the facility.
The emergency department is set to reopen Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
For those in need of urgent care, the nearest ERs are in Hanover, Mount Forest, Markdale, and Walkerton.
