On Friday, July 7, 2023, the Township of Georgian Bluffs will begin its annual dust suppressant application program.
The purpose is to reduce dust on gravel roads, improve visibility, and improve the air quality for nearby residents.
"The product is non-toxic and biodegradable, with minimal impact on the surrounding environment," the Township said in a statement released to the media.
There could be temporary delays on the roads while the application is being completed. Drivers are asked to slow down and drive with extra caution while workers are present.
