Plans are coming together for The RCMP Musical Ride event in Owen Sound this September.
The 150th Anniversary Tour of the RCMP Musical Ride will feature two shows at the the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
The Director of the Rotary Club of Owen Sound’s Camp Presqu’ile, Scotia Hutton, said proceeds from the show will support improvements to the camp.
"Saturday, September 9 and on Sunday, September 10. So, two afternoon shows at 2 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Center, and all the proceeds are gonna go towards helping support the renovation of our kitchen project here at Camp Presqu'ile," she explained.
The event will also include some special performances.
"And that should be a really great show with the RCMP coming through and then we also have performances from a few equestrian groups, and the Grace Riding Association will be there, and the Global PetFoods Super Dogs!" she exclaimed.
