Mapleton Fire Department and the Township of Mapleton have confirmed that Fire Chief Rick Richardson is hanging up his helmet after serving with the fire department since 1984.
Richardson's retirement became effective as of July 14, and he served as Mapleton Fire Chief since 2002.The township extended their best wishes to Rick and his family as he embarks on this new chapter in his life.
