A recent crash has resulted in numerous charges, including multiple drug offences.
On June 22 just before 10:30 a.m., Perth County OPP responded to a collision between two vehicles on Road 164 in North Perth.
Police determined that an SUV crossed the centre line and collided with the front end of a tractor-trailer.
The SUV driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. An officer came to the hospital and was told that the male left immediately after arrival.
On July 19 following the investigation, a 38-year-old Mildmay native was arrested and charged with careless driving and numerous drug offences including trafficking and possession charges.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
