The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has updated closure hours for a local emergency department.
The Durham Hospital's Emergency Department will no longer close on Tuesday, August 8 from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. Staff are available to cover that day, so there will no longer be a closure that day.
However, the Durham ED will still close Friday, August 4 at 5 p.m., and won't reopen until Sunday, August 6 at 7 p.m.
Ambulance by-pass has been undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open ED.
