Handbags for Hospice sells out in a hurry

Tickets for Huron Shores Hospice biggest annual fundraiser sold out in less than an hour.

The seventh Handbags for Hospice gala takes place Thursday, Sept. 21 in the Kincardine Pavilion and features a night of auctions, trivia, raffles and more.

Tickets for the event went on sale Friday at 7:30 a.m. and were all spoken for less than 50 minutes later.

For those that missed out on tickets, you can join a waitlist to see if any become available.

The Hospice warns against purchasing tickets from individuals, saying they cannot be transferred from person to person without going through Huron Shores Hospice.

The goal of this year’s event is to raise $180,000 to support their two-bed residential suites.
