The Township of Georgian Bluffs is set to host it's first outdoor movie night.
The inaugural showing will be Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and it's expected to be Marvel-ous.
"We are thrilled to bring the magic of outdoor cinema to Georgian Bluffs," said Acting CAO and Director of Community & Environmental Services, Niall Lobley. He called the action-packed Marvel film a "fantastic choice" for the event.
The movie will start at 7 p.m. at Shallow Lake Arena on Friday, August 25.
Community members are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and pillows to enjoy the movie under the stars. People are also welcome to pull up their vehicle for a drive-in experience.
Admission is free, though the town is hoping for donations for Safe and Sound, an organization that aims to support those experiencing homelessness. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary products, socks, and underwear are among the requested donation items.
