Two people are now facing theft charges following an investigation into a reported suspicious vehicle.
Perth County OPP stopped a vehicle on August 17 just after 2:30 p.m. after receiving calls about a suspicious vehicle and a theft at a local business on Main Street South in the Township of Perth East.
Following an investigation, a 62-year-old from Walkerton and a 27-year-old from Waterloo are facing theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime charges.
Both accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 25, 2023, to answer to the charges.
