United Way kick off 2023-24 fundraising campaign

Perth Huron United Way's Goderich and Area Community Committee is proud to announce Banding Together 4 United Way Perth-Huron, their 2023-24 campaign kickoff on Saturday, September 23 at the Goderich Memorial Arena.

United's Manager of Community Development, Goderich and Area, Michelle Millar, says the United Way is involved in so much work locally helping vulnerable people, including support for programs and services available through the Huron Homelessness Initiative.

This event is a great opportunity for people to enjoy some great music and learn more about what United Way Perth Huron is working on in Goderich and surrounding areas, including Central Huron, Huron East and Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, and find out their campaign goal for this year.

“We have a silent auction and fifty-fifty tickets. We're coordinator food trucks right now. We'd like to have a couple on site so if there are food truck people out there I'd love to hear from you and we have three great local bands lined up for the night," Millar enthused.

Anyone who can provide a food truck or would like to donate an item for the silent auction can email Michelle Millar at mmillar@perthhuron.unitedway.ca

More information about the event on September 23 at the Memorial Arena in Goderich can be found on the Perth Huron United Way web site.
