Residents of Huron-Kinloss are being asked to help the township develop a ten year strategic plan.
The plan will identify what is important to the community, council, and staff. Residents can share their vision and priorities at three upcoming community workshops, and through a community survey.
The first session is September 19 at Point Clark Community Centre, while the second session is at the Lucknow Community Centre September 20, and the third session is a virtual one on November 21. Each session will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
There will be a presentation followed by a question and answer session. People don't need to register, but it would be appreciated.
The community survey is open until September 30, featuring seven open ended questions and three demographic questions. Paper copies are available at the Township Office at 21 Queen St. in Ripley.
The 2023-2033 Strategic Plan: Blueprint for our Future and master action plan will be presented to Council in January 2024.
