North Wellington Healthcare confirms that the outbreak at the Palmerston District Hospital, which was announced on September 7, is now over.
Visiting hours will resume. The outbreak was declared after two inpatients and five staff tested positive.
PDH staff are asking that anyone visiting the hospital not visit a patient if you are feeling unwell, been diagnosed with COVID-19, or in close contact with someone who has COVID-19.
