A North Perth man is facing several weapons charges after getting stopped at a RIDE program on Thursday night.
Perth County OPP set up a check along Line 88 and officers say the suspect was stopped around 9:30 p.m.
According to police, it was determined the driver had consumed alcohol and the man was placed under arrest. During the arrest, police say they found a handgun beside the driver's seat, and two other "long guns" stashed elsewhere in the vehicle.
The 35-year-old is now facing 11 charges, including three counts of careless use of firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and operation while impaired.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court in November to answer to charges.
