Santa arriving in St. Marys

The holiday season gets into full swing in St. Marys this weekend. Santa Claus will arrive in St. Marys with the Kinsmen Santa Claus parade on Friday.

The Kinsmen are planning a traditional parade with a departure from the Pyramid Recreation Centre at 7:00 p.m. This year’s parade will follow its familiar route up James Street, west on Queen Street through the downtown, then south on Water Street where the parade will end.

The lighting of the WinterLights display will illuminate Milt Dunnell Field, following the Santa Claus Parade, on Friday, November 17. People can make donations to support the WinterLights display at www.townofstmarys.com/winterlights

The St. Marys Craft Show will be held on Saturday, November 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Centre featuring over 100 vendors.

Beginning Friday, November 24, the St. Marys BIA hosts its three-day Merchants’ Open House, complete with horse and wagon rides, Victorian carolers, and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
