South Bruce OPP have laid charges following an investigation into a fatal collision.
On November 24 around 7:30 p.m., officers responded alongside local emergency crews to a reported crash between two vehicles at the intersection of Bruce County Road 28 and Bruce County Road 6 in Carrick Township.
The crash resulted in a fatality. Police investigated alongside members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team and the Coroners office.
As a result, 39-year-old Sean Bryce of Saugeen Shores has been charged with Dangerous Operation Causing Death, Impaired Operation Causing Death, Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm and Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm.
The accused remains in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing scheduled for December 15, 2023. The charges have not gone before a court of law.
