County asking for participation in rural transit survey

Wellington County is asking residents to participate in a survey regarding rural transit.

A survey was launched by the county on December 7 to gather public input on transportation needs and preferences.

A release states that the Rural Transit Survey, available at www.wellington.ca/transitsurvey, was "designed to collect feedback about residents’ experiences and challenges with the County’s existing transit services."

All respondents that complete the rural transit survey will have the chance to be entered into a draw for $250 in Ride Well credits. All surveys will be done anonymously.

“It is incredibly important for us to understand the complexities of Wellington County’s rural transit system,” said Warden Andy Lennox. “This survey is a great opportunity for residents to voice their opinions and help us ensure that the County’s future transportation strategies align with the needs of those we serve.”

“The opinions provided will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation in Wellington County,” commented Economic Development Committee Chair, Jeff Duncan. “By sharing your experiences, challenges and suggestions, you are contributing directly to the development of solutions that meet the evolving needs of our diverse communities.”
