A victim of a vehicle theft recently located a stolen payloader, leading to the arrest of three suspects by Grey Bruce OPP.
Police were contacted with the whereabouts of the machine on December 27, 2023.
A search warrant was executed at the Southgate property, where the John Deere payloader, a Kubota riding lawn mower and deck were seized. The estimation of the total theft is around $40,000.
Two 59-year-olds and a 42-year-old, all of Southgate Township, have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
