The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) is looking to update its watershed strategy and wants your feedback to help.
"The watershed strategy is an overarching document for the Conservation Authority," said Kate Monk, projects coordinator. "It sets out a strategy for how we do business and how we operate with the community, within the watersheds."
A survey available on ABCA's website looks at various focus and education programs. Those include protecting life and property from flooding and erosion, conservation authority lands and passive recreation, research and monitoring, outreach and education, stewardship, restoration, and forestry, and drinking water source protection.
"Most importantly, we want to make sure that we're not missing something, if there are other programs or services the public would like us to do," said Monk.
The survey can be found here and is available until January 31. Alternatively, you can call the ABCA office at 519-235-2610 for a paper copy.
