Due to insufficient nursing staffing, the emergency department will close at 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
It will reopen at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3.
Ambulance by-pass will be undertaken to divert patients to the nearest available ER.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
