The warning applies to Grey, Perth, Huron and Bruce Counties.
Lake effect snow bands from Lake Huron are expected to move into the area this evening and continue through to Sunday evening.
The weather agency is calling for heavy snowfall, with as much as three to five centimetres falling per hour at times. By Monday night, 20-40 cm is expected to accumulate.
Strong winds with gusts reaching up to 70 kilometres per hour are also expected.
Anyone thinking about driving during this time is advised to consider postponing any non-essential trips. Road conditions may be hazardous due to heavy, blowing snow and reduced visibility.
