Owen Sound residents can add a little fun into February by participating in the Snowen Sound Frolics. It is a family-friendly experience that encourages residents and visitors to explore a variety of Owen Sound’s natural and built amenities.
This is the third annual event, after successful Snowen Sound Frolics in 2022 and 2023. The event takes place over the month of February to highlight various outdoor landmarks throughout the city. Participants should follow Owen Sound Tourism on Facebook and Instagram and look out for weekly riddles on those pages.
People should try to solve the riddle, find the location, and take a selfie with the Snowen Sound Frolics sign at the location. Participants who share their selfie with #SNOwenSound will be eligible for daily giveaways. Those who find all signs, should arrange them in order, and tag #SnowenSound for a chance to win one of two Grand Prizes valued at $500 each. The winners will be announced after the four-week campaign.
Additional weekly giveaways will take place for those who like, comment on, and share their photos throughout the campaign. Bonus giveaways will be announced over Family Day weekend.
