Bruce County man facing multiple sexual assault charges

Owen Sound police have arrested a 58-year-old man after an investigation of alleged sexual assault.

An investigation was started in December 2023, after police received a complaint about sexual assault at a local business. Ten victims, who were current or past employees, provided details to investigators.

Police on Friday arrested Sean Floyd of Bruce County.

He is charged with ten counts of sexual assault, eight counts of sexual exploitation, and seven counts of sexual interference.

The charges have not been proven in court. Floyd was held for a show cause hearing and has been released with a court date at the end of February.

Police believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information should call Owen Sound Police Detective Constable Chevonne Martin at (519) 376-1234, ext. 173.
