Update: Etobicoke senior killed in Hwy. 21 collision

Provincial police say a 67-year-old from Etobicoke was killed in a collision on Highway 21 in Georgian Bluffs.

Emergency crews were called to the highway between Grey Road 3 and Grey Road 18 around 9 p.m. Wednesday. A pick-up truck and a sedan had collided, critically injuring one of the passengers.

The 67-year-old was rushed to hospital, however life saving efforts were unsuccessful and they were pronounced dead.

The road was closed for several hours, but re-opened on Thursday afternoon.

Members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team are assisting the Grey Bruce OPP with the investigation
