Huron County OPP arrested and charged one person after a recent assault investigation.
On February 22, officers responded just before 10 a.m. to an address on Huron Road in the Town of Goderich for a report of an assault involving two parties.
Investigators determined that one of the individuals hit the other with a metallic object causing minor injuries to the victim.
A 33-year-old Goderich native was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Failure to Comply with Probation Order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and later remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
