Another roadway in Perth County was briefly closed as winter weather conditions worsen.
Perth County OPP closed a section of Highway 23 near Monkton following a crash. Both lanes were closed on Highway 23 between Perth Line 49 and Line 53 just after 4 p.m.
There is no word yet on any potential injuries. The road was re-opened just after 7:30 p.m.

Winter conditions are making roads in Midwestern Ontario very difficult to navigate due to blowing snow and snow accumulations. If you don't need to travel, avoid it if possible and drive to the conditions if you do go on the roads.
