Grey Bruce OPP have recovered a stolen combine header, thanks to a tip from the public.
On February 10, police responded to a report of a stolen Case International Combine "header" in the Township of Southgate.
Though a 40-year-old from Melancthon was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to apply for permit on becoming an owner, the combine wasn't recovered.
It was valued at over $20,000.
Then on Monday, Grey Bruce OPP and the Dufferin County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) received a tip from the public that the combine was at a business on 260 Sideroad in Melancthon.
The combine was seized and returned to its owner.
