A pair of emergency departments will temporarily close this weekend due to staffing shortages.
First, the Chesley Hospital's ER will be closed all day Friday. Already closed on weekends, the emergency department won't reopen until Monday, April 8 at 7 a.m.
The Durham Hospital will also face all-day closures on Saturday and Sunday. The ED will reopen Monday morning, also at 7 a.m.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre says ambulance by-pass will divert patients to the nearest open department.
The closest hospitals include Hanover, Walkerton, Kincardine, Southampton and Mount Forest.
