Perth County OPP have shared the numbers from the Easter Long Weekend traffic campaign.
The campaign ran from March 29 through April 1. During the long weekend, Perth County officers laid 92 charges. Of those 92 charges, 5 motorists were charged for seatbelt infractions.
Other charges laid include 56 charges for speeding, 2 charges for impaired driving, 2 charges for stunt driving and 2 charges for distracted driving.
Officers also responded to a few motor vehicle collisions over the holiday weekend.
Unfortunately, there was one fatality in Perth County as a result of a collision.
