The Durham Hospital Emergency Department will be closed all weekend now.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre says it will closed all day Sunday "due to insufficient staffing."
The hospital was closed on short notice all-day Saturday as well.
Ambulance bypass has been undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open ED.
The emergency department is scheduled to reopen Monday at 7 a.m.
The hospital has been under fire in recent weeks for the decision to remove inpatient beds on June 3.
The SBGHC board says "the decision was made to keep emergent services in Durham." This is the second weekend in a row the ED has been closed on short notice.
