The Bruce County Rail Trail will be undergoing corridor and surface improvements throughout the month of June between Sideroad 30 and the Huron-Bruce Road, south of Mildmay.
Work will include corridor widening and the application of aggregate material to improve trail accessibility.
Trail access may be impeded, and temporary closures may be required at times.
The Bruce County Rail Trail is a multi-use trail that is approximately 80km long and extends from Port Elgin to the Huron-Bruce Road and from Port Elgin to Bruce Nuclear Power.
The rail trail also connects several community trails through the towns of Port Elgin, Kincardine, Paisley, Walkerton and Mildmay.
