Wellington County OPP have charged a 30-year-old man of Centre Wellington with sexually assaulting a child after a lengthy investigation.
Police say the incident occurred between September 2023, and June 2024, at a home in Centre Wellington.
The man has been charged with three counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, two counts of sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching under 16. The accused was held for bail.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this occurrence to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
They also remind victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault that there are local resources available to help, including Victim Services Wellington and Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis.
