Hanover Police are asking a passerby that intervened in an altercation late last month to contact them.
According to police, on Thursday, June 27 at around 9:50 p.m. two males and a female, who are known to each other, were walking together on Ninth Street when one male allegedly attacked the second one in what is being described as an unprovoked assault.
Police said during the struggle a passerby intervened, and the one male suspect took off on foot after stealing property from the other male.
On July 5, a patrol officer spotted the 23-year-old suspect on Sixth Avenue and was arrested after a brief foot chase.
The suspect has been charged with robbery and two counts of breach of probation.
