Two people are facing charges after the search of a rural home in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township turned up nearly $10,000 worth of stolen property.
Officers with the Huron-Perth OPP's community street crime unit, Grey-Bruce CSCU, West Region OPP emergency response team, OPP tactics and rescue unit, and aviation unit raided the residential property on Belfast Road on Wednesday. Officers seized stolen property, including a golf cart - which had been re-painted - a gas-powered backpack blower, and licence plates.
The estimated value of the recovered items is $9,300, police said.
While four people were at the residence when police arrived, only two ended up being arrested.

A 19-year-old of no-fixed address was also charged with obstructing a peace officer and failure to comply with release conditions.
Both of the accused have been remanded into custody with future court dates, police said.
