Local business, MicroAge Basics, has pledged $25,000 to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation’s Caring Together campaign to fund a new CT Scanner.
The locally-owned office supply store, with locations in Wingham, Goderich and Kincardine, marked 40 years in business by continuing a long tradition of supporting their local communities.
“As a member of the new group of owners who took over four years ago, we are proud to make this donation and carry on the 40 year long tradition of supporting the communities who have supported us,” said Co-Owner Erin Peet.
Donations to the Caring Together campaign go towards bringing a net new CT Scanner to the Wingham & District Hospital.
Having an on-site CT Scanner will reduce travel time and delays making emergency care faster and safer.
