A 23-year-old from London is facing numerous charges after police found drugs during a traffic stop.

On August 21 at 9:30 p.m., Huron County OPP officers were patrolling along London Road in South Huron when they saw a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign on Crediton Road.

Officers pulled the vehicle over, and a search of the vehicle resulted in police finding and confiscating a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, and crack cocaine. Other seized items included a digital scale, packaging material and a cellular phone. Cash was also seized.

As a result, the 23-year-old driver from London is now facing charges including possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused was processed, then later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice on September 30.
