Owen Sound Police Cruiser. (Owen Sound Police / X)A 22-year-old man avoided any injuries after rolling their vehicle into a ditch.
At around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Owen Sound Police were called out to 9th Avenue East.
It’s reported that a vehicle lost control due to the wet and slippery conditions and struck a curb causing it to rollover.
The driver, who was the only one in the vehicle, was uninjured but the vehicle suffered extensive damage.
Police are using this incident to remind drivers to be extra careful when snow and ice is present.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
