On December 18 at 6:30 p.m., Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of an alleged assault at Lions Park in Palmerston.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged an 18-year-old suspect with assault with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph, on January 25, 2025.
