Huron-Kinloss unveils new Fire Chief

Huron-Kinloss has announced a new fire chief.

The municipality officially unveiled Jeff Bradley as the new chief of the fire department on March 5. Bradley will begin his new role in an official capacity on March 25.

Bradley has over 19 years of experience. He has also served as a leader on the Bruce County Critical Incident Stress Support Team. Mayor Don Murray welcomed the new fire chief in a press release issued by Huron-Kinloss.

Bradley says he looks forward to continuing to serve the community and join a veteran firefighting team.

"Jeff has over 19 years’ experience in fire safety and suppression with a proven history of continuing education and skills development, as well as positive leadership development,” said Mayor Murray.

“I’m looking forward to joining a well-established township leadership team as Fire Chief for the community of Huron-Kinloss. I’m honoured, proud and thankful for this opportunity and excited to serve the community and work with an outstanding group of firefighters. Leading both stations in public education, fire prevention and fire suppression is a responsibility I take seriously," Bradley stated. "My main goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of our firefighters and residents in our community. With my experience and expertise, I plan to develop stronger relationships with other emergency response teams and our community."
